A new puzzle every day · Free on iPhone

Something real, turned into colour.

Every Huezle puzzle is one strip of coloured bands. Each band is a slice of something that actually happened — a minute of a basketball game, an episode of a TV season, a state in an election. Read the shape, then name the thing.

How it works

A puzzle you read, not one you race.

No timer, no letters, no grid. One strip, four answers, one tap.

  1. Read the strip

Left to right is the order things happened. The legend under the strip says what each colour means for this category.

  2. Tap one of four

Every answer is real and comes from the same pool, so you are choosing between four games from the same season, or four shows of similar length.

  3. See what it was

The reveal names it and says why it looks the way it does — the final score, the season average, the year a name peaked.

Can you read these?

Four famous strips. Name them in the app.

Real strips from Huezle, drawn by the app’s own code: a TV season, a baby name across nearly 150 years, an album cover sliced into twelve, and a presidential election from west to east. Every one of them is famous.

Inside the app

What it looks like on your iPhone.

  • An NBA playoff game drawn as a strip, one band per minute, with four matchups to choose from
  • A TV season drawn as a strip, one band per episode, red to green by rating
  • All seventeen categories, each with its own palette
  • Three categories side by side: a city's hottest days, a comic hero's career and an album cover

The daily

One puzzle a day. The same one for everybody.

Every morning there is one new strip, drawn from a different category each day — including ones you have not unlocked. One attempt, then a streak.

  • Free forever, whether you buy anything or not
  • Share your result as a picture that never shows the answer
  • Your last 28 days as a calendar, on the Stats screen

Made to be calm

Nothing in Huezle is trying to keep you there.

Works with no signal

Every strip is inside the app. Play on a plane, in the subway or with your phone in airplane mode.

No ads, no account

Nothing to sign in to and nothing tracking you. Your stats live on your phone and nowhere else.

No timer, no lives

Take as long as you like. There is no energy meter and no “come back in four hours”.

Remove one

Stuck? Clear a wrong answer, then another. It never counts against your streak.

Turn it sideways

Rotate your iPhone and the puzzle lays itself out in landscape — good for reading a long strip, or for playing on the TV over AirPlay.

Real data, honestly drawn

NBA.com play-by-play, IMDb ratings, US Social Security records. A wrong strip is worse than a missing one, so bad data is left out.

Questions

What is Huezle?

Huezle is a daily puzzle game for iPhone. Every puzzle is one strip of coloured bands made from real data — a basketball game minute by minute, a TV season episode by episode, a novel chapter by chapter. You read the shape and pick which of four real things it is.

Is Huezle free?

Yes. The app is a free download, the daily puzzle is free forever, and NBA Playoffs, TV Shows, Baby Names and Movies are free forever too. The other thirteen categories are $0.99 each as a one-time unlock, or $9.99 once for everything — including every category added later.

Is there a subscription?

No. Every purchase is a one-time unlock that never expires and restores to a new iPhone from your Apple ID.

Is Huezle on Android?

Not yet. Huezle is iPhone-only for now.

Does it need the internet?

No. Every strip in every category is inside the app, so it works on a plane, in a tunnel or anywhere without signal.

Are there ads or tracking?

No ads, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. There is no account to make and nothing to sign in to.
