Huezle Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 4, 2026

Huezle is a puzzle game where you guess something real from an abstract colour strip. This page explains what happens to your information when you play it. The short version: we don't collect anything about you. Two things can leave your device, and neither is about you — a purchase check when you buy or restore, and, only if you ask for it, the round you are looking at being sent to your own television.

We don't collect anything

Huezle does not collect, store, or share any personal information, and we have no way to identify you as a player. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login of any kind.

Every puzzle is built into the app itself, so playing a round never sends anything over the internet. The app works fully offline.

What's stored, and where

Huezle keeps a small amount of information on your device only, so the app can remember things between sessions:

  • your stats and streaks (how many puzzles you've solved, your best runs)
  • today's daily puzzle and your recent history of daily results
  • which categories you've unlocked, whether one at a time or all at once
  • a couple of display preferences, like your preferred list view

All of this stays on your phone, using Apple's standard on-device storage. It is never transmitted to us, and we have no server that could receive it even if it tried to be. Deleting the app deletes this information.

In-app purchases

Huezle offers optional, one-time purchases: a single category can be unlocked on its own, or every category — including any added later — can be unlocked at once. None of them is a subscription. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details, billing address, or any other payment information. Apple's own privacy policy covers that part of the transaction: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

To price, confirm, and let you restore those purchases on a new device, the app also communicates with RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. This happens automatically, only around a purchase or restore — never during ordinary play. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier and which unlocks have been bought; it never receives your name, your payment details, or anything about how you play. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/

Casting to a television

The Play screen has a Cast button. It appears whether or not you ever use it, and nothing happens until you tap it.

If you do tap it, Huezle looks for a Chromecast on the Wi-Fi network you are already connected to. iOS asks for Local Network permission the first time, and declining it simply means no televisions are found. Nothing about this step reaches us or any server of ours — we do not operate the device it finds, and we do not receive a copy of anything sent to it.

While a television is connected, the app sends it what is needed to draw the round you are playing: the colours of the strip, the four answer options, and whether the round has been revealed. It does not send your stats, your streaks, your purchase history, or anything identifying you. This traffic stays on your own network, between your phone and your own television.

Sharing a result

After you finish a daily puzzle, you can choose to share a picture of your result. That image is created entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere unless you actively choose to share it — and then only to wherever you send it (Messages, Mail, and so on). We never receive a copy.

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking

Huezle contains no analytics software, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about how you play is measured or reported to anyone. The only communication the app makes beyond your own device is the purchase check described above, and the only communication it makes on your own network is the casting described above — each one only when you ask for it.

Children's privacy

Because Huezle does not collect information from anyone, it does not collect information from children either. The app is appropriate for players of any age on that basis.

If this ever changes

If a future version of Huezle adds a feature that does send information off the device — for example, an optional leaderboard through Apple Game Center — this page will be updated first to describe exactly what that feature shares and with whom, before that feature is turned on.
